Family

I received an e-mail today & was very much moved by the contents.
So, I decided to post it up here....
It is about Family~
"...... I ran into a stranger as he passed by.
"Oh excuse me please," was my reply.
He said, "Please excuse me too. I wasn't watching for you."
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home, a different story is told.
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, while cooking the evening meal, my son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
"Move out of the way," I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.
While I lay awake in bed, God's still small voice came to me and said,
"While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use but the family you love, you seems to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor, you'll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."
By this time, I felt very small and now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed.
"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said.
"Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree. I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."
I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today. I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay. I love you anyway."I said, "Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the blue." ....."
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think?

So what is behind the story?
Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = Father And Mother I Love You

Ending Soon.....

Yes, July is ending soon.
The month I dislike is ending in just less than 24 hours.

Wish July ends well,
wish August begins well.....
Wish whatever happened in July remained in July,
wish it will never recurrs in any months after July.

Am looking forward to move on to August,
am looking forward for a better August.....

dislike today....dislike July

Mood swing today.... seems to be not my day again.....
Not sure when it started to swing..... guess it will remained swinging till today ends.

Today is not the first day in the month of July I'm having mood swing......
Today not the first day in the year of 2009 I'm having mood swing too....

Really dislike July......
Too many things happened in July and that I really wish it ends soon.
Well, it is ending real soon in just less than 48 hours.

How glad but why am I not when I'm so looking forward to August?

Is it because I'm afraid?
Afraid that August will be the same as how I felt in July??
Or is it afraid that too soon to August and that it's coming soon to September too?
Hope it won't, hope it's not......

@ppreciates

Days have passed & so do months.

Although it is just the beginning of the journey but a lot have been done along the journey.

Regardless of huge or little favors;
Simplicity or difficulty situations;
Tears or laughter moments......
I do sincerely appreciate them all.

.... easier Monday

4 ways to make your MONDAYS easier......

1 ~ Pen down your to-do list on Friday afternoon.
According to psychologist Neil Fiore, PhD, this allows you to go in on Monday with a clear head.

2 ~ Enjoy your Sunday.
Don't let that heavy, dreadful feeling descend upon you on Sunday night. Have people over, catch a flick or read a good book. Plan fun stuff so you'll go into the office on Monday in a good mood, says life coach, Joy Robinson.

3 ~ Limit Monday AM chats.
Although there's much to share about your adventurous weekend, wait to catch up with your colleagues after getting work done. Procrastinating adds to stress.

4 ~ Pace yourself.
Tackle the easier tasks first. This way you'll feel that you've accomplish much and be encouraged to complete the more difficult tasks.

Beauty of a Woman

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,
the figure she carries,
or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode,
but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
the passion that she shows.

The beauty of a woman..... with time, only grows....
